1320/30nm Laser Line Bandpass Filter Description
The 1320/30nm filter is a near-infrared narrowband filter. With a central wavelength of 1320+/-2nm and a bandwidth of 30+/-2nm, it is specially designed for the 1319nm/1320nm spectrum of the Nd-YAG laser, effectively matching its second harmonic or specific pumping requirements. The transmittance in the passband is greater than or equal to 80%, ensuring that the target wavelength passes efficiently. There are two cutoff bands outside the passband, with a cutoff depth of OD4 in the range of 200-1200nm and a cutoff depth of OD3 in the range of 1200-1700nm, which can quickly cut off stray light outside the band and effectively block interference from the main peak of Nd-YAG 1064nm, fundamental frequency light (808nm) and other stray wavelengths.

1320/30nm Laser Line Bandpass Filter Applications
- Laser wavelength selection and spectral line separation
Nd:YAG lasers usually use 1064nm as the main emission wavelength, but can generate secondary spectral lines near 1320nm such as 1319nm and 1338nm through tuning or nonlinear frequency conversion. Through the 1320/30nm bandpass filter, the laser in the 1305-1335nm band can be accurately extracted from the composite spectrum, suppressing the fundamental frequency 1064nm, other harmonics such as 532nm, 355nm and spontaneous radiation noise to ensure the purity of the output wavelength. - Medical laser treatment
The absorption characteristics of 1320nm laser in biological tissues are between water and hemoglobin, which is suitable for minimally invasive surgery and vascular treatment. 1320/30nm bandpass filters filter out stray light of non-therapeutic wavelengths in medical laser equipment to avoid non-target tissue damage - Nonlinear optics
In optical parametric oscillators or Raman lasers, when the 1064nm pump light of Nd:YAG is converted to mid-infrared or long-wave infrared through nonlinear crystals, 1320nm is often required as the intermediate wavelength. The 1320/20nm filter separates and purifies the intermediate wavelength (1320nm) to prevent the unconverted pump light from interfering with subsequent processes - Optical communication
The 1320nm wavelength belongs to the O band in optical fiber communication. Although it is not as commonly used as 1550nm, it can reduce the impact of atmospheric turbulence in specific free space communication scenarios such as satellite-to-satellite links. The 1320/30nm filter can suppress crosstalk between channels and improve signal integrity.
