1064nm Optical Narrow Bandpass Laser Filter Description
The core wavelength of the 1064nm optical narrowband laser filter strictly matches 1064nm, which is the fundamental frequency output wavelength of the Nd:YAG laser. The center wavelength is 1064+/-2nm, and the half bandwidth is 10+/-2nm. While accurately screening the target wavelength (1064nm), it can support the passage of 1059-1069nm light. The transmittance in the passband is >80%, which significantly improves the utilization rate of light energy and reduces the energy loss of the system. There are two cutoff bands outside the passband, with a cutoff depth of OD4 for 200-1200nm and a cutoff depth of OD3 for 1200-1700nm. Such a cutoff depth ensures efficient suppression of stray light outside the band. We use multi-layer hard coating technology to take into account both high transmittance and strong stray light suppression capabilities. This filter is the first choice for Nd-YAG lasers.

1064nm Laser Filter FWHM 10nm Applications
- Laser cutting
In laser cutting, in order to protect the sensor and prevent the infrared radiation of high-temperature molten metal from interfering with industrial cameras or optical path monitoring equipment, the 1064/10nm optical bandpass filter can assist in selectively transmitting 1064nm±5nm wavelength (FWHM 10nm) and reflecting or absorbing stray light in other bands. This can reduce optical path noise and ensure stable laser energy focus - Medical beauty
In Nd:YAG laser therapy, it is necessary to ensure that the laser energy is concentrated on the target tissue such as melanin and blood vessels. The 1064/10nm filter only allows the 1064nm treatment laser to pass efficiently, strictly filters other wavelengths, and filters out non-treatment band light to avoid epidermal burns. - Laser protection
High-power 1064nm lasers are potentially harmful to both human eyes and detectors, especially in processing or laboratory environments. The 1064/10nm filter can limit the transmission of specific wavelengths, block the strong laser from directly reaching the observation channel and ensure the visual safety of operators, while preventing laser damage to the internal imaging system. - Raman spectroscopy
In Raman spectroscopy or laser induced spectroscopy (LIBS), 1064nm laser is used as the excitation source, but the excitation light itself must be filtered out to detect weak Raman signals. The 1064/10nmn filter uses a filter to strictly control the transmission wavelength, retaining only the 1064nm laser or filtering it out in reverse.
