400nm-880nm Sapphire AR Anti Reflective Coating Description
The 400-880nm sapphire anti-reflection coating manufactured by Coligh is a multi-layer optical thin film filter designed for sapphire (Al₂O₃) substrates.
- This filter covers broadband anti-reflection from visible light to near-infrared bands, and the transmittance is greater than or equal to 90% in the range of 400-880nm
- We use sapphire as the substrate for coating. The Mohs hardness of sapphire itself reaches level 9, and its scratch resistance is far superior to glass or resin materials
- This filter is an excellent choice for the protection window from visible light to near-infrared light

400nm-880nm Sapphire AR Anti Reflective Coating Applications
- High-power laser system
The sapphire window needs to protect the optical components inside the laser, but the surface reflection will reduce the energy transmission efficiency and create the risk of echo damage. This filter can be used as a protective window to resist the high-power instantaneous impact of the laser - Consumer electronics
The sapphire watch mirror or camera cover needs to be highly transparent and scratch-resistant, but the reflection of the bare sapphire surface will reduce the display clarity. By coating the surface with an anti-reflection film, this filter can reduce noise for mobile phone camera imaging and improve the shooting effect - Industrial optical sensor
The sensor window needs to efficiently transmit signals in a wide spectrum, but the reflection of the sapphire surface will cause signal attenuation and stray light interference. This filter has a transmittance of ≥90% in the 400-880nm wide spectrum, which can improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the sensor
