750nm Interference Filter with 30nm Bandwidth Description

750/30nm Narrowband Bandpass Optical Filter Coligh manufactures is a high-precision optical filter based on multilayer dielectric thin film interference technology, designed for spectrally selective transmission in the 750 nm near-infrared band.

  • Central wavelength 750+/-1nm, covering the near-infrared biological tissue transmission window 700-900nm and characteristic spectra of various materials
  • Half bandwidth 30+/-1nm, passband range 735–765 nm, strictly suppressing out-of-band ultraviolet, visible light and near-infrared stray light
  • Passband transmittance ≥90% (@735–765 nm), maximizing signal collection efficiency
  • Blocking range covers 350-1000 nm, suppression depth OD>=6
  • We use fused quartz as the optical substrate, and the substrate is ultrasonically cleaned to ensure film adhesion and density.

750/30nm Narrowband Bandpass Optical Filter Applications

  1. Biomedicine
Near-infrared zone II 900-1700nm imaging requires the separation of the excitation light 808nm laser and the probe emission light 750nm, but the autofluorescence of biological tissues <700nm and ambient light noise will interfere with weak signals. The 750/30nm interference filter can be placed in front of the detector of the imaging system, allowing only the fluorescence signal of 735-765nm to pass through, shielding the excitation light and background stray light. The 30 nm narrow-band pass window matches the probe emission peak, suppressing autofluorescence below 700nm and ambient light above 780nm.
  2. Industrial detection
Plastic sorting requires near-infrared spectroscopy to identify different polymers, but the spectral overlap of mixed plastics will reduce the sorting accuracy. The 750/30nm filter can be integrated into the spectral sensor of the sorting machine, with a 750 nm LED light source, and only receives the 735-765 nm reflection signal. The 30 nm narrow-band focuses on the PET absorption peak and suppresses the 700-730 nm interference signal of polyethylene. Improve the accuracy of plastic classification
  3. Autonomous driving
LiDAR uses 750 nm laser to detect obstacles, but the high-intensity radiation of sunlight in the 700–800 nm band can cause signal drowning and affect the quality of point cloud. This filter can cover the LiDAR receiving sensor and only allow 750±15 nm laser echo signals to pass through. Block the bands other than 735–765 nm in sunlight to improve the signal-to-noise ratio
  4. Environmental monitoring
Methane has a characteristic absorption peak near 750 nm, and leaks need to be detected by tunable laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), but the absorption peaks of water vapor and CO₂ will cause cross-interference. This filter can be built into the gas analyzer and work with the 750 nm distributed feedback laser to extract the 735–765 nm absorption signal.
