660/17nm Narrowband Optical Interference Filter Description
660/17nm Bandpass Dielectric Filter Optical Coligh manufactures A high-performance optical filter based on multilayer dielectric film interference technology, designed for spectrally selective transmission in the 660 nm red to near-infrared band
- Central wavelength 660+/-1nm, covering the emission band of red laser diodes and fluorescent probes
- Half bandwidth 17+/-1nm, passband range 651.5–668.5 nm, ultra-narrow bandwidth accurately isolates target signals and suppresses interference from adjacent bands.
- The transmittance of 651.5–668.5 nm in the passband is greater than or equal to 90%, and the cut-off depth OD>=6 of 350-1000nm outside the passband, strictly suppressing the excitation light source and ambient light of ultraviolet, visible light and near-infrared outside the band.
- We support customization of any wavelength, bandwidth, material, size, and shape, and provide 10–15 days rapid prototype delivery to reduce customer R&D cycle and comprehensive cost.

660/17nm Bandpass Dielectric Filter Optical Applications
- Flow cytometry
Flow cytometry requires simultaneous detection of multi-color fluorescent markers, and APC emits light at 660 nm, but excitation light scattering interferes with the detector. The 660/17nm filter only allows 651.5–668.5 nm fluorescence signals to pass through, shielding stray light of other wavelengths. The 17 nm narrow-band pass window matches the APC emission peak, suppresses 640 nm excitation light scattering, and the high passband transmission supports multi-channel parallel detection of FITC (525 nm), PE (575 nm), etc. - Industrial detection
Food sorting requires identification of specific colors through the 660 nm reflection spectrum, but ambient light interference can lead to misjudgment. The 660/17nm bandpass filter can cover the sorting machine sensor, only receiving 651.5–668.5 nm reflection signals, shielding stray light of other wavelengths. Blocking the bands other than 660 nm in daylight increases the contrast of target features by 10 times. - Laser processing
660 nm fiber laser high-power laser processing needs to eliminate the interference of 808 nm pump light and ambient stray light to ensure processing accuracy. The 660/17nm narrowband filter only transmits 660±8.5 nm laser and blocks noise of other wavelengths. OD6 level deep blocking suppresses pump light and ambient light to ensure the purity of laser beam >99.9%. - Scientific research instruments
Raman spectroscopy needs to filter out the Rayleigh scattering of 660 nm excitation light to extract weak Raman signals. The 660/17nm optical filter can be used as a supplement to the edge filter to block 651.5–668.5 nm scattered light and only transmit Raman signals.
