VIS Range 458nm Bandpass Filter With 15nm Bandwidth Description

458/15nm optical narrowband bandpass filter Coligh manufactures is an optical filter based on precision thin film interference technology

  • Central wavelength 458+/-1nm, half bandwidth 15+/-1nm, transmittance greater than or equal to 90% in the target band 458+/-7.5nm,
  • Blocking depth OD>=6 in the range of 350-1000nm outside the passband, with ultra-deep cut-off for non-target bands in ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared
  • We use fused quartz as the substrate, and other optical glasses can also be selected, such as K9, B270, sapphire, etc.
  • We use ion-assisted deposition technology, combined with thin film interference design, to achieve narrowband spectral selection while suppressing the interference of stray light, while improving the density and adhesion of the film layer, and resisting wipes, moisture and heat.

  1. Semiconductor blue laser defect detection
    Nano-scale defects on the wafer surface are more clearly developed under 458nm blue light, but ambient light 450-470nm will reduce the imaging contrast. 458/18nm bandpass filter can be embedded in the optical detection system. As an illumination module, 458nm laser + narrowband filter can provide high-purity illumination
  2. Atmospheric aerosol fluorescence analysis
    Aerosol particles, pollen, and PM2.5 emit characteristic fluorescence under 458nm excitation, but the solar background light 400-500nm interferes seriously. This filter can be carried on the atmospheric monitoring laser radar to ensure the purity of the laser wavelength and extract the aerosol signal at the same time
  3. Argon ion laser line selection
    Argon ion laser has multiple line outputs at 458nm, 488nm, and 514nm, and a single wavelength of 458nm needs to be selected to adapt to specific applications. This filter can be inserted into the laser resonator or output optical path to allow only 458nm light to pass through and suppress other spectral lines
