266/10nm Laser Filter For Nd:YAG Descroption
The 266/10 laser filter is an optical filter designed specifically for Nd:YAG lasers, especially for quadrupled 266nm UV output. With a transmittance of >15% at the 266nm center wavelength and a bandwidth of only 10nm, it can be used to accurately filter the target wavelength, ensuring that the target UV light passes efficiently and avoids signal loss, while efficiently suppressing stray light, fundamental frequency light (such as 1064nm, 532nm, 355nm) and other interfering signals. We use ion-assisted coating technology, combined with fused quartz or high-precision optical glass substrates, and the product is extremely durable and suitable for industrial-grade continuous or pulsed laser environments.

266/10nm Laser Filter For Nd:YAG Applications
As the core optical component of Nd:YAG laser system, 266/10nm laser filter is used in many scenarios:
- Industrial laser processing
In industrial laser processing, the ultraviolet band (266nm) is widely used for micro-processing of brittle materials (such as glass, sapphire, ceramics) and semiconductor precision etching. - Life science imaging
In high-end instruments such as fluorescence microscopy and Raman spectroscopy, the detection of weak signals is easily interfered by background noise (ambient light, laser stray light). 266nm laser filter can provide a narrowband (10nm) high light transmittance window, while blocking 200-260nm (avoiding UV fluorescence interference) and 270-1200nm (suppressing visible light and infrared noise), significantly improving the signal-to-noise ratio - Medical beauty
In picosecond laser beauty equipment, 266nm ultraviolet light is used for melanin blasting (freckle removal, tattoo removal), the filter only allows 266nm±5nm treatment light to pass, attenuating stray light to above OD5, which can avoid causing burns to non-target tissues - Laser LiDAR
In atmospheric laser radar (LIDAR), 266nm ultraviolet light is used to detect aerosol distribution or ozone concentration. The 266nm filter isolates the 266nm signal at the receiving end and suppresses sunlight noise (OD6+ blocks 270-1200nm), which can improve the signal-to-noise ratio and monitoring resolution.
