1480nm Laser Line Bandpass Filter FWHM 30nm Description
1480nm Laser Line Filter FWHM 30nm is an optical hard coated interference bandpass filters specially designed to meet the pump or signal light requirements of Nd-YAG laser systems. The central wavelength is 1480+/-2nm, the half bandwidth is 30+/-2nm, compatible with laser wavelength drift or wide spectrum pumping scenarios. The transmittance is greater than or equal to 80% within the passband, which can ensure efficient use of optical power. The cutoff depth of OD3 OD4 is maintained outside the passband from 200-1700nm, effectively isolating stray light and noise. We use ion-assisted coating technology, which can withstand continuous laser and is suitable for high-energy Nd-YAG systems.

1480nm Laser Line Interference Filter FWHM 30nm Applications
1480/30nm laser line interference filter plays an irreplaceable role in the fields of fiber optic communication, medical laser, industrial processing, environmental monitoring, etc. .
- Fiber optic communication and optical amplifier pumping
1480nm is one of the core pump wavelengths of EDFA, which amplifies optical signals by exciting the high energy state of erbium ions (Er³⁺). The 1480/30nm filter can filter out stray light at the output of the pump laser to ensure the purity of the pump wavelength. Suppress the amplified spontaneous radiation noise at the receiving end and improve the optical signal-to-noise ratio. - Medical laser
The 1480nm wavelength is in the weak absorption range of water and can be used for shallow tissue vaporization, minimally invasive ablation and other treatments. The 1480/30nm filter can filter out non-therapeutic bands such as 1064nm and 1310nm in medical laser equipment to ensure the safety of the output wavelength and suppress the redundant harmonics of the pump source. - Scientific research experiment
1480nm can be used as a pump wavelength or idler light to generate mid-infrared (3–5μm) lasers. The 1480/30nm filter can separate the target wavelength at the output end of nonlinear crystals such as PPLN and KTP to suppress residual pump light interference. - Gas detection
The 1480nm band covers the over-the-air absorption lines of some gases such as methane CH₄ and ammonia NH₃, and plays an important role in industrial safety monitoring and agricultural emission analysis. The 1480/30nm filter can be used with narrow linewidth lasers to filter out environmental background noise and improve the detection limit
