560/25nm 685/15nm Dual Band Bandpass Optical Filter Description
560/25nm + 685/15nm Dual Band Bandpass Filter enables high transmission at two target bands—560nm (±12.5nm) and 685nm (±7.5nm)—while strictly suppressing background stray light.
- The 560/25nm channel (CWL 560nm, FWHM 25nm) is compatible with FITC, GFP, and other green fluorophores. The 685/15nm channel (CWL 685nm, FWHM 15nm) is optimized for chlorophyll a, Cy5, or near-infrared fluorescence markers.
- Out-of-band blocking reaches OD>6, effectively eliminating UV/visible interference and ensuring no crosstalk between bands—ideal for low-light detection.
- Within the 590–637nm and 709–766nm ranges, the filter offers ultra-high transmission, with minimum transmission >90% and average >93%, significantly enhancing signal-to-noise ratio.
- Manufactured using ion-assisted hard coating technology, the filter is highly durable, resistant to humidity and abrasion, and features an extended operational lifetime.

560/25nm 685/15nm Dual Band Bandpass Filter Applications
- Biomedical Imaging
Live-cell multi-target imaging requires simultaneous capture of green fluorescence (GFP) and red fluorescence (Cy5). Conventional wideband filters cause channel crosstalk. This dual-band bandpass filter can be integrated into fluorescence microscopes or flow cytometers to simultaneously detect GFP and Cy5 signals. - Environmental Monitoring
Simultaneous monitoring of chlorophyll-a and suspended solids in water or soil is essential. Traditional single-band devices require two separate measurements, which may lead to errors due to dynamic sample changes. Additionally, the 685 nm chlorophyll signal is easily overwhelmed by ambient light. The 560/685 nm dual-band bandpass filter can be integrated into portable water probes or UAV spectrometers to capture scattering signals from suspended solids and precisely extract the chlorophyll-a fluorescence peak. - Industrial Sorting & Quality Control
In recycling and pharmaceutical applications, contaminants or target materials are often tagged with dual fluorescent labels (e.g., 560 nm and 685 nm). Wideband filters increase misidentification rates. The 560/685 nm dual-band bandpass filter can be integrated into high-speed optical sensors for sorting machines to detect PET plastics and identify PVC contaminants.
