1550nm Laser Line Filter FWHM 30nm Description
1550nm Laser Line Filter (FWHM 30nm) is a high-performance interference filter designed for InGaAsP Indium Gallium Arsenide Phosphate photodetectors or lasers.
- The central wavelength is 1550nm+/-2nm, covering the core area of 1530-1565nm in the C-band of optical fiber communication.
- The half-bandwidth of 30+/-2nm is compatible with multi-channel transmission requirements.
- The transmittance in the passband area is greater than or equal to 80%, and the cut-off depth OD4 in the range of 200-1850nm effectively isolates out-of-band stray light.

1550nm Laser Line Filter FWHM 30nm Applications
- Fiber Optic Communication
In DWDM systems, 1550/30nm filters are used to separate or merge multiple optical signals near 1550nm, which can reduce channel crosstalk, increase transmission capacity, support single-fiber transmission of more than 80 signals, and reduce fiber laying costs. - Laser Sensing
1550nm laser matches the near-infrared weak absorption line of methane, and 1550/30nm filters can suppress ambient light noise - Biomedical Imaging
In 1310nm/1550nm imaging systems, 1550/30nm filters can suppress out-of-band noise of superluminescent diode light sources and improve axial resolution - Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers
1550/30nm filters can filter out the backscattered noise of 980nm/1480nm pump lasers to ensure the purity of C-band 1530–1565nm signals.
