280/10nm Laser Wavelength Filter for Nd: YAG Description
The 280/10nm laser filter is an optical filter designed specifically for Nd:YAG laser systems. It provides precise filtering for the 280nm ultraviolet band (±5nm), with a central wavelength of 280nm, a bandwidth of 10nm (FWHM), and a transmittance of >15%, ensuring efficient passage of the target ultraviolet light and reducing energy loss. At the same time, it effectively suppresses stray light (such as fundamental frequency light 1064nm, second harmonic 532nm, etc.) and ambient light interference, achieves high optical density blocking of OD5 for 200-270nm and 290-1200nm, and eliminates background noise interference. We use ion-assisted coating technology to withstand high energy density laser shocks.

280/10nm Laser Wavelength Filter Applications
280/10nm Laser Wavelength Filter has important applications in the following scenarios:
- Life Science
Proteins have characteristic absorption peaks at 280nm (caused by tryptophan and tyrosine), and high-purity ultraviolet light is required for quantitative analysis. The 280/10nm filter can accurately separate 280nm light, suppress interference from other bands, and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the spectrophotometer or imaging system. - Industrial Material Processing
280nm ultraviolet light is used to cure special glues or coatings. The 280/10nm laser wavelength filter can filter out non-target wavelengths to ensure that ultraviolet energy is concentrated on the curing or cleaning area. - Environmental Monitoring
280nm ultraviolet light can be used for ozone absorption spectral analysis and monitoring of the ultraviolet absorbance of dissolved organic matter (DOM). The 280/10nm filter isolates the 280nm signal at the receiving end, suppresses ambient light noise, and improves monitoring sensitivity. - Scientific experiments
High-power 280nm pulses are used in nonlinear optical experiments. The 280/10nm filter isolates the 280nm drive light to prevent secondary harmonics from interfering with the measurement system.
