265/5nm Ultraviolet Bandpass Filter Description
265/5nm Ultraviolet Bandpass Filter is a narrowband filter specially used for 265nm ultraviolet light.
- Its central wavelength is 265nm, and it is highly transparent in the range of 263-267nm.
- Our advanced coating technology has a substrate quartz with high transmittance and low thermal expansion coefficient, with a transmittance greater than or equal to 45%, and a cutoff depth of OD4 within the working wavelength of 200-1000nm.
- Compared with traditional soft films, we use multi-layer dielectric coating hard film technology to enhance the transmittance of the target band through interference and absorption effects, while suppressing light in other bands. And the hard coating technology can make the use of the filter and the optical performance more durable.

265/5nm Ultraviolet Bandpass Filter Applications
265/5nm Ultraviolet Bandpass Filter has profound applications in many ultraviolet fields:
- Ultraviolet disinfection and sterilization
Because the 265265nm band is located in the UVC deep ultraviolet band, it is very common in the fields of disinfection and sterilization, such as ultraviolet LED sterilization equipment, medical and laboratory disinfection and UV-C LED light source detection - Spectral analysis and ultraviolet detection
In fluorescence analysis, it is used to excite specific fluorescent substances, such as detecting the fluorescence characteristics of biological molecules (such as certain proteins or metabolites) to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. Or accurately measure the absorbance of samples near 265nm in a spectrophotometer, which is suitable for DNA/RNA analysis (close to the 260nm absorption peak) - Environmental monitoring
Ozone has strong absorption near 254-265nm, so the 265/5nm Ultraviolet Bandpass Filter can be used to monitor the ozone concentration in the atmosphere or industrial environment - Material science
In semiconductors, the difference in ultraviolet reflection/transmission characteristics is used for wafer surface defect inspection or film thickness measurement,
