1064.2/0.5nm Ultra Narrow Bandpass Filter Description
The 1064.2nm ultra narrow bandpass filters produced by Coligh with is a high precision optical filter with 0.5nm bandwidth.
- The 0.5nm ultra narrow bandwidth can accurately filter non-target wavelengths, which is very cost-effective and high-precision spectral separation scenarios.
- The peak transmittance of this filter is above 90%, which can ensure the efficient passage of the target wavelength 1064.2nm signal and reduce light energy loss.
- In addition, we use multi-layer hard interference coating, and the central wavelength accuracy is controlled at +/-0.1nm.
- The hard coating can enhance durability and environmental corrosion resistance.
- In the range of 300-1300nm, our cutoff depth OD>7, such a high cutoff depth can suppress the spontaneous fluorescence and stray light of non-target bands, and improve the signal-to-noise ratio and resolution of imaging.

1064.2/0.5nm Ultra Narrow Bandpass Filter Applications
1064.2/0.5nm ultra-narrow bandpass filters play an important role in multiple applications with high precision and narrow bandwidth.
- Lidar
Lidar needs to separate the reflection signal of a specific wavelength from the complex ambient light, such as 1064nm. The ultra-narrow bandwidth of 0.5nm can accurately filter the infrared visible stray light, and the transmittance of 90% can ensure the efficient reception of the laser echo signal. In Lidar, this filter can be used for applications such as autonomous driving vehicles, topographic mapping and atmospheric pollution detection. - Fluorescence imaging
For example, the excitation/emission spectrum of near-infrared fluorescent dyes needs to be strictly matched with the detection system. The 1064.2nm filter can be used for deep tissue imaging with strong infrared light penetration to reduce autofluorescence. It can also be used for in vivo imaging, pathological section analysis and other live animal imaging, flow cytometers. - Astronomical observation
When studying atomic absorption lines and stellar spectral characteristics, the narrow bandwidth of 0.5nm can accurately separate the target spectral lines (such as the spectral lines near 1064nm of hydrogen atoms) to improve the analysis accuracy. The stability of the filter can also ensure reliable operation in field observatories or extreme environments. - Laser guidance
In laser guidance, it can be used in infrared countermeasure systems and night vision equipment, and adapt to harsh environments such as dust and humidity.
