UV-Vis Optical Bandpass Filter 529nm 20nm Bandwidth Description

529/20nm optical bandpass filter is an optical filter designed based on the principle of multilayer thin film interference. 529/20nm filter can selectively transmit narrowband spectral signals with 529nm as the center wavelength and 20nm bandwidth, while efficiently suppressing out-of-band stray light.

  • This filter has precise wavelength control, with a center wavelength of 529+/-1nm and a half-bandwidth of 20+/-1nm, meeting the needs of high-precision spectral separation
  • The transmittance in the passband is greater than or equal to 90%, and ultra-high signal transmittance is achieved near 529nm, maximizing the target light intensity and improving detection sensitivity.
  • The cutoff depth OD>=6 in the range of 350-1000nm outside the passband can effectively eliminate the interference of ultraviolet, visible light and other near-infrared light
  • We use ion-assisted deposition technology to improve the density and environmental stability of the film layer to ensure that the long-term performance is not attenuated.
  • We use JGS1 fused silica, a low autofluorescence material, as the substrate. Other glasses such as B270 and K9 can also be selected.

529/20nm Optical Bandpass Filter Applications

  1. Chlorophyll fluorescence dynamics analysis
    In the study of plant photosynthesis, chlorophyll has a specific fluorescence emission peak near 529nm, and this signal needs to be separated to analyze the activity of photosystem II (PSII). The 529/20nm narrowband filter can be integrated into the detection light path of the pulse modulated fluorescence instrument, and with the 520nm excitation light, it can filter the ambient light noise to achieve real-time monitoring of plant stress response and guide precision agriculture and stress-resistant crop breeding.
  2. Flow cytometry
    The emission spectrum of the new fluorescent dye Alexa Fluor 532 covers 520-540nm, and a 529nm filter is required to accurately capture the signal. The 529/20nm fluorescence filter can be combined with a dichroic mirror and a PMT detector to separate multi-color fluorescence channels, thereby avoiding spectral crosstalk in multi-color detection and improving the accuracy of immunophenotyping.
  3. Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy
    In LIBS technology, 529nm corresponds to the atomic/ion spectral lines of specific elements copper and nickel, and the plasma background continuous radiation needs to be suppressed. The 529/20nm bandpass filter can be placed in front of the spectrometer entrance slit to screen the characteristic spectral lines of the target elements.
  4. UAV multispectral remote sensing
    The 529nm band is sensitive to early plant diseases and can reflect changes in leaf pigment content. The 529/20nm filter can be integrated into the drone multispectral camera and combined with the green light channel 550nm to calculate the normalized vegetation index
